A song I wrote as a wedding gift to two friends. I was delighted that they chose it for their 1st dance as Husband and Wife.

Filled with tension and excitement, we’re fit to burst
Grab a few cans and get on the bus
Hoping the driver hasn’t got us sussed

Get to Galway and stop for a bite
And we swear even from here we can hear the bells chime
We’ve our best clothes on and I hear someone say
‘I can’t believe that today’s the day’

All dressed up in their finery

When Simon first met Ann-Marie
Someone said they saw them in a tree
