Animal Sanctuary
Stomping on kittens is easy and it’s fun
But it’s not the kind of sport that’s for everyone.
The DSPCA will really be after me.
Now I’m just looking for somewhere to hide,
Somewhere to lay low ‘til this all blows over.
Animal Sanctuary.
It started with pulling the wings off flies.
I’d lock the bee in the bottle until it dies.
I’d love to watch it kick it’s legs in the sky.
I just thought it was a bit of fun, yeah
But now here I am on the run, oh yeah.
Animal Sanctuary.
I’ve been killing animals since I was a kid
And I never thought twice about what I did.
Until the day that they all ganged up on me.
Now I’m just looking for somewhere to hide,
Safe from the animals parked outside
The Animal Sanctuary.
Taking the candy from the baby was easy
But stifling it’s cries was not so easy.
Now I’m locked up in the
Animal Sanctuary.

Just An Animal

Just An Animal
Chorus:
You’re just an animal,
Yeah, an animal,
You’re just an animal,
An animal is what you are.
You’re just an animal,
A filthy animal,
Animal,
An animal is what you are.
Ten thousand years of evolution,
You think you’re so far removed.
Ten thousand years of domestication
Shouldn’t hide you from the truth.
Chorus:
You eat
Just like an animal
You sleep
Just like an animal
You breathe
Just like an animal
An animal is what you are.
Chorus:
Ten thousand years of evolution,
You think you’re so far removed.
Ten thousand years of domestication
Shouldn’t hide you from the truth.
Chorus:
You think
Just like an animal
You stink
Just like an animal
You breed
Just like an animal
An animal is what you are.
Chorus:

I Remember You

I Remember You
I don’t recall much of that night.
I hardly remember a thing.
I remember Kenny taking a shortcut
Home across the Irish sea.
We pulled him out onto the beach,
Our clothes wet and torn to pieces,
Salt water coursed through the wounds,
I don’t remember feeling pain but I remember you.
I remember
Kissing barbie girls goodnight,
Wishing I was kissing you,
Shaking and a– crying ‘neath the flourescent light
But most of all I remember you
I don’t recall much of that night.
I hardly remember a thing
But I remember clearly that look you gave me
When you called my name and I remember you.

The Ballad of Simon and Ann-Marie
Here we are it’s August the Thirty-First
Filled with tension and excitement, we’re fit to burst
Grab a few cans and get on the bus
Hoping the driver hasn’t got us sussed
Yeah it’s here at last and it ain’t no foolin'
Everyone’s rocking down to Doolin
Get to Galway and stop for a bite
And we swear even from here we can hear the bells chime
We’ve our best clothes on and I hear someone say
‘I can’t believe that today’s the day’
Yeah it’s here at last and it ain’t no foolin'
Everyone’s rocking down to Doolin
And there they are, Simon and Ann-Marie
All dressed up in their finery
And the bridesmaids are looking good to me
All dolled up like Xmas trees
And we’ve made it to the church, yeah we’re finally here
We’ll see smiles and we’ll see tears
When Simon first met Ann-Marie
Someone said they saw them in a tree
And they were K.I.S.S.I.N.G
And whatever else comes naturally
Now they’re husband and wife, they ain’t foolin’
And it all happened right here in Doolin
